Happy new year! Happy New Year people! :D Its finally 2009! Ready for the new challenge? So, school is gonna reopen tomorrow, you're gonna see new faces in your new classes. Maybe all of you won't get use to the quietness in your new classes, cause 1e5/2e5 is forever noisy, haha. Okay, some of you might be like ''Sian, need go back to school, hais.'' I got a few things to make all of you feel more excited to go to school. 1) Theres sec3 camp next year! 2) You finally get to see all your friends that you've not been seeing! 3) You're in a new class which means new adventure! 4) You're studying new stuffs and maybe even subjects that you like! 5) You're finally known as 'Upper sec' and during assembly, you don't have to squeeze at the you-know-where! 6) You're gonna make new friends! 7) Boys finally got to wear long pants! Merry Christmas everyone! Merry Christmas everyone! Firstly, sorry for the lack of updates, I know this blog is kind of dead. Yah, so here I am to revive the blog. But I'm glad to see that the tagboard is not that dead yet, do continue to tag more! So, school is reopening in a few days time. Ready for the new upcoming year? Its gonna be much more tougher than sec2, so you can't afford to slack. Hey, do buck up everybody! Actually, its not difficult to be a good student. 1) You just have to do your homework and hand it on time. 2) Revise your notes when you know theres a test coming up. 3) Pay attention during class and don't sleep/sms/talk etcetc. 4) Ask questions when you're in doubt, you know the teacher is there, they get their pay so why don't make full use of them right? (: I hope all this helps, its actually useful if you really follow it. Its there but its up to you whether you wanna follow it or not. Get all this into your brains before you start your new sec3 lifes okay? Keep this in mind and always remember it. (: Andand! Will everybody still go to the fitness corner during the first day of school? Hopefully, everybody will still go there alright. Updates on Class BBQ. Hello all, i know its been awhile, so here to update you guys on our last and final class bbq Yea. Alright so.. Date: 2nd December 2008. Time: 2pm- 8pm ( You may choose to stay longer, but you may leave after 8pm.) Venue: East Coast Park. Pit number: 27C. Attire: Strongly advice to wear class tshirt as it would be our last time together as a class. Yea, so i guess that's all you need to know. Do not ask me what things do you need to bring on the day, common sense would tell you so. Hope to see most of you guys down there. Streaming Results. Hello guys! Sorry for the lack of updates recetly. 1000 apologies, haha, didn't know what to update. Anyway, I guess everybody got back your streaming results already. So, how was it? Are you statified with it? Disappointed in it? Or you don't care anymore. Of course, I hope all of you are statisfied with it. And for those who are sad or disappointed with it, do cheer up okay! You can appeal to a better class or not just accept the fact that you're in that class. I really hope that after all of you go to sec3, all of you will work hard okay. Its not like this year already, everything is gonna be much harder. Lots of remedials, lessons and stuffs, you must really learn how to manage. Don't slack too much like this year okay? I know all of you can do it. Jiayou! And also after you meet your new friends, do not forget the old ones. If possible, I hope 2e5-ians will still go to the fitness corner on the 1st day of school. Post-Exam Activities. As all of you know, the rest of the days will be Post-exam activities. And some of you might not know what activities we'll be having, the details and what to bring etcetc. I shall write it here to clear all of your questions. [: 20/10/2008 (Monday) There will be a scuplture competition and you're suppose to use recycled materials to make a scuplture. And the scuplture must be related to saving the Earth etcetc. You can bring newsapapers, magazines, any recycled materials. This activity will require all of you to be divded into groups of not more than 8 people. Which means it can be 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 people in a group. Each group MUST produce one scuplture and its a compulsory activity. This activity will last for the whole day and if you didn't bring any material, be prepared to rot for the whole day, haha. Ohyah and also remember that you have to key in your options tomorrow. This is very important and we'll be keying in from 9.45 to 10.15. And if I'm not wrong, we'll be doing it in Lab 1. Remember to bring your subject combination paper and the paper which teach you how to key in your options just in case. 21/10/2008 (Tuesday) We'll be going to the Singapore Discovery Centre, aren't all you excited? :D Haha, and it will be a whole day activity too. I don't think all of you will be required to bring anything. Maybe just a pen or pencil and a small notebook. 22/10/2008 (Wednesday) There will be this activity call 'Many Faces, One Singapore'. I have given everybody this paper which tells you about this activity, read if for more information. But for the sake of those who don't have it, its an activity which you have to do in groups of 4 and you have to paint masks. The mask have to represent different cultures. You'll be required to bring paintbrushes, apron(Optional), images of different cultures(Reference), scissors, glue, colouredpens etcetc. 23/10/2008 (Thursday) There will be Use-Your-Hand Campaign on this day. Please bring along your rags okay in order to clean the classrooms. Do remember that you are NOT allow to pour water on the classroom floors. Do remind your friends to bring their rags too. Helloooo Humans! We're gonna have a End-Of-The-Year-2e5-Class-Bbq. I know some of you would be asking why not have a class chalet? Its not worth having a class chalet and well i'm sure not all of you would be able to stay over night. Plus the chalet+bbq pit for 3D2N is $308 excluding the food and you have to pay at least $15 and at most $2o to us. And as for the BBQ, you guys just need to pay less than $10 for it including food. (So please be considerate to think for others if they are able to fork out $20 for the chalet, do not be selfish and thinks that everyone in the class is able to fork out that amt thank you for your understanding :) I have not book the pit tho cos i need some suggestions on what you guys think, please let me know asap so that i'm able to book the pit and order the foood. Here would be the possible infos of the BBQ party. Date: 17 november. (monday) Venue: East Coast Park. Pit number: 26c or 28c. Time: Late afternoon to night. Happy Bday Erwin & Sibing! Hello! Updating once again! Firstly, I shall wish Erwin and Sibing a very happy birthday! Lols, they're the only classmate who has the same birthday. But still, best wishes and hope all your dreams will come true. (: Anyway, aren't all of you glad that the EOY is officially over? You don't have to memorise the whole chunk of notes anymore, you don't have to stay up till late and burn midnight oil just to study. Haha, I'm very sure that all of us are very glad! :D I'm sure that all of you already have plans, outings with your friends and cliques. Hmm, talking about that, what do all of you want to have for class outing? BBQ, Escape theme Park, Chalet, KBox? Or some other stuffs? Feel free to suggest in the tagboard, suggestions are welcomed.
